Over 77% of stakeholders would recommend working with SW AHSN

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the online survey of Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs). The survey created by NHS England and sent out via YouGov was distributed to pre-identified stakeholders of all the AHSNs and ran from 09 July 2015 to 07 August 2015.

Links to the online survey were also sent out more widely by NHS England and through regional AHSNs’ own communication channels allowing other individuals not identified by the AHSNs to participate.

The survey provided stakeholders and other individuals the opportunity to give AHSNs helpful feedback at a local and national level.

For the SW AHSN the survey findings have enabled us to review areas where stakeholders and individuals feel we are doing well and has also identified opportunities for improvement. It was particularly encouraging to learn that over three quarters (77%) of our stakeholders recommend working with us and 36% feel that we have achieved more than expected in the last 12 months.

All feedback received has been considered and will be incorporated into our plans for the future of the SW AHSN, informing how we progress our goal of spreading best practice of health care delivery and innovation to more people across the South West of England.
