Academic Health Science Network launches 2016 Stakeholder Survey

YouGov have begun the 2016 Academic Health Science Network stakeholder survey which has today gone live nationally and across the South West.

The survey, which will run for five weeks until 16 September, has been commissioned by NHS England, and will be carried out by independent researchers YouGov in line with the Data Protection Act.

From today research teams from YouGov will be contacting the many partners, patient representatives and collaborating organisations that the South West Academic Health Science Network (SW AHSN) has worked with during the past year. A series of national questions and three regional specific questions have been developed for online response and submission. There are two separate urls, one which is specific to the SW AHSN and one which is suitable for organisations who work with multiple AHSNs.

Whilst the survey has been designed for access from a wide variety of browsers some older forms of Internet Explorer are not supported (IE6 and IE7 in particular). If you have an older browser you might find access from a tablet or mobile device is easier for you and you will find the survey is very mobile friendly.

The 2015 survey showed that the SW AHSN was regarded very positively for its contribution to health and care in the region. Over three-quarters (77%) of the SW AHSN stakeholders recommended working with it and 36% felt that it had achieved more than expected in the previous year. Both of these results were in line with the all AHSNs average. This year the SW AHSN is hoping its work with the Patient Safety Collaborative, 100 Genomes Project, on new funding identification for voluntary, community and social enterprise sector, and the data interpretation, intelligence and evaluation work undertaken with South West NHS organisations will see an even stronger result.

If you are a user of the SW AHSN’s services please complete the survey using the SW AHSN specific link or the national AHSN link.
