Primary Care Quality Improvement Training Across Somerset

The South West Patient Safety Collaborative (PSC) is delivering a number of quality improvement training courses for GPs within the Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group area over the next few months, entitled Quality Improvement in Action. The PSC, which is hosted at the SW AHSN has the remit to share best practice and quality with healthcare professionals and helps to develop the quality improvement skills and knowledge of clinical and operational staff across the region. The training courses are to be held on the 07 and 17 October. The courses are closed events, but if you are interested in finding out more information about Quality Improvement (QI) Methodology Workshops please contact william.lilley@swahsn.com.
William Lilley, Patient Safety Programme Manager says: “We have held some really exciting training courses in the past looking at developing and improving quality and patient safety across the whole health and social care system and have received really good feedback from them. This is another opportunity to get our messages out to primary healthcare professionals and to encourage best practice in quality and patient safety across the region.”
