Interim Chief Executive Officer for SW AHSN Announced

Following recent news that Rosie Benneyworth will be standing down from her position as Managing Director of the SW AHSN, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Louise Witts as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective from 01 January 2017. She will remain in this role until a new CEO is appointed to replace Rosie on a permanent basis later in 2017.

Louise is currently the Director of Integrated Care at the SW AHSN, and has over 10 years’ experience working at a local and national level on NHS improvement programmes, with a focus on primary care development and working across organisational boundaries. With initial commercial sector experience, she has more recently been working with the Department of Health, NHS England, and at clinical commissioning group (CCG) and local authority level.

Louise said: “I am delighted to be taking on this interim role as Chief Executive Officer for the SW AHSN. We have a very talented team here who are working closely with frontline health and social care professionals, continuously looking to find ways of improving the quality of patient care. I am really looking forward to taking on this new opportunity on an interim basis.”
