The NHS Innovation Accelerator: now enrolling for 2022

If you have a healthcare innovation making a positive impact on health equity that you’re keen to scale, apply now to the NHS Innovation Accelerator at https://nhsaccelerator.com/apply/.

The NHS Innovation Accelerator (NIA) – an NHS England and NHS Improvement initiative supported by England’s 15 Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs), hosted at UCLPartners – has launched the call for its 2022 cohort of Fellows.

We are delighted that the NIA is recruiting for ‘innovations which support equity of access, experience, or outcomes for those at greatest risk of poor health outcomes.’ This aligns with the South West AHSNs strategic focus of maximising improvements to health equity through innovation and is a great opportunity to help accelerate the adoption and scaling of health equity innovations.

This fund is open to local, national and international health and social care innovations supported by passionate individuals from any background, including SMEs, clinicians, charity/third sector and academics. In addition to health equity, the NIA supports themes of early detection or diagnosis and delivery of proactive personalised care

Applications are open until 10 October 2021.
