Implementing PSIRF: moving forward together event

Do you work in Somerset, Devon or Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly? 

Are you involved in implementing the new Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF)? 

Join us in person for our free “Implementing PSIRF: moving forward together” event!  

This event will take place on Monday 13 March 2023. 10am – 4pm. Please arrive from 9.30am for 10am start. The venue will be the Amphitheatre at the South West Academic Health Science Network, Vantage Point, Pynes Hill, Exeter, EX2 5FD 

Get together with people involved in implementing PSIRF across the South West Peninsula. The event will be an opportunity for peer support, sharing aspirations, learning and challenges, and networking with colleagues to support system wide transition to PSIRF.  

The event will focus on working together as a system, and will include: 

• Keynote address by Dr Suzette Woodward. Suzette is an authority on a breadth of patient safety concepts and theories; safety II, incivility, psychological safety and a just culture.  She is now freelance having worked in the NHS for 40 years, and specialised in patient safety for over two decades. 
• Workshops and activities to support PSIRF implementation as a system 
• Networking lunch 

• Live screening and group discussion of the NHS England National Patient Safety PSIRF webinar 3: “From governance to planning” (popcorn included!) 

The event is aimed at PSIRF leads, implementation team members, patient safety partners and anyone else involved in PSIRF implementation across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
