NHS South West Leadership Academy – Leadership at the Frontline

OVERVIEW

A four module programme exploring system leadership for frontline leaders.

PROGRAMME

The programme will be modular with four one-day modules running from June 2019, with 4-8 weeks between modules. Participants will be asked to identify a personal case study – a relevant, live scenario or situation to consider and apply the learning to throughout each module.

Module 1 – 5 June 2019, 9.00 – 17.00

Will provide introduction to system leadership, identification of case study scenarios, focus of input and activities. For example, complex systems and real life application using a collaborative approach.

Module 2 – 27 June 2019, 9.00 – 17.00

This module will have a focus on system behaviours. Building trust in the system and explore real life application.

Module 3 – 18 July 2019, 9.00 – 17.00

Participants will explore system infrastructure. Looking at positive deviance in the system and a real life application.

Module 4 – 3 September 2019, 9.00 – 17.00

Will look at System Delivery, the ladder of collaboration and real life application using a collaborative approach.
