South West Regional Collaborative Forum: Discussion forum on FeNO guidance
The event will focus on ensuring that together we can ask questions and review FeNO pathways, such as NICE and clinical guideline recommendations. We will also explore the benefits, limitations and challenges of using this test in primary care. You can find a copy of the guidance here.
SWAHSN aim is to share learning, best practice, and discuss areas of interest such as barriers, training and misconceptions. The collaborative welcomes all to take part.
This event is an opportunity to hear from South West respiratory leads and clinical champions about their experience and recommendations for implementing FeNO.
Chairing the event is Dr Steve Holmes, who has worked as a GP for more than 30 years and currently works as a part-time partner in Shepton Mallet in Somerset. Dr Holmes is education lead for PCRS and is a previous chair. He has been on RCGP council for the last 10 years and has worked extensively with the British Thoracic Society, British Lung Foundation and RCGP with more than 200 publications to his name. Dr Holmes is passionate that evidence-based, patient-centred care will improve outcomes and the quality of life of our patients.
