Details

Vidimo is a silo-agnostic webtech solution, available securely via a conventional web browser.

It is specifically designed to create efficiency across Health and Care boundaries at the local, City and ICS/Regional Network levels.

Reduces workload for front-line colleagues through automation and more intelligent ways of working.

Enables real-time coordination along the patient journey, regardless of care setting.

Provides real-time management/performance metrics at every level

The problem

The three key problems across NHS and ASC - Workload, Patient delays and Capacity are inextricably linked.

WORKLOAD:
2m+ staff days across NHS and ASC are absorbed by manual overheads p.a. equiv to 9000FTE's or c£250m.
46% of staff leaving NHS cite workload as the main reason. The same is true of Local Authorities, Dom Care et al.
25% of staff want to leave within the first 3 years
32% of staff have little to no enthusiasm in turning up for work
NHS spend £50m p.a. to recruit 42,000

DELAYS:
1.8m delay days p.a. impact patients, A&E, Ambulance
up to 30% Acute capacity adsorbed by DToC
Exacerbated by lack of coordination of meds and transport
c£2bn+ conflated cost of DToC p.a.
Inconsistent data - former NHS chief executive says most data collected about hospital discharges by NHS England is ‘useless’ and biased against social care.
£32m spent on replication admin p.a. with little patient benefit.

CAPACITY:
Capacity and visibility of capacity across all care settings limits flexibility, exacerbates patient flow and elective recovery

Evidence

Current approaches for locating appropriate care beds are manually intensive, taking c10-12 minutes Vidimo, being a real-time solution, could achieve the same, with better quality results in under 10 seconds = 6000% efficiency increase.

Vidimo reduces replication, repartition and other manual overheads by up to 90% through automation and intelligent use of technology

Current data for patient delays is unreliable and heavily skewed and seldom shared. Vidimo delivers a single source of truth with consistent granular detail, available in real-time across both NHS and ASC + digital tools to reduce delays. A 5% reduction in patient delays releases 90,000 bed days back into use. + £1.6m reduction in manual admin.
