Applications for Grant Funding to Become a Delivery Organisation for Transform Ageing Now Open

Interested organisations or consortia of organisations, based in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset are invited to apply for grant funding to become a delivery organisation for the Transform Ageing programme.

Transform Ageing is a pioneering programme, taking a design-led approach to improving people’s experience of ageing. This new, cross-sector initiative will bring together people in later life, social entrepreneurs and health and social care leaders to define, develop and deliver innovative product and service solutions that better support the needs and aspirations of our ageing communities.

Successful delivery organisations will work alongside the Transform Ageing team on the programme. They will ensure that the needs and wants of people in later life and their support networks are at the heart of the programme, by providing engagement and reach into the local community and by supporting the Transform Ageing team to deliver the programme locally.

The programme, funded by the Big Lottery Fund and delivered by Design Council in partnership with UnLtd, the South West Academic Health Science Network and the Centre for Ageing Better, will run from now until mid-2019.

The deadline for applications is 12:00, Monday 13 February 2017. For further information and to apply go to Design Council website.
