RAND Europe deliver innovation workshops with stakeholders in the South West

On 20 and 21 April RAND Europe, supported by the SW AHSN, facilitated two NHS innovation workshops in Taunton and St Mellion, and 35 stakeholders from across the South West took part.

The workshops form part of a RAND Europe and University of Manchester study, commissioned by the Department of Health, which is exploring ways to respond to demands for productivity and high quality care in the NHS through innovation.

Delegates discussed the health and care innovation landscape in the South West, the key innovation drivers, and how the NHS’s innovation capability could be improved. RAND will publish an Interim Report in Autumn 2016, and estimate the study will be completed in late 2017.
